I spend so much time at my favourite hairdressers Blow Dry Bar, and it’s high time I wrote a post about the salon. I’ve been coming to the Potts Point salon for over a year now, and the great service and friendly vibes keep me coming back. The name suggests blow dries and styling only, but I’ve recently started going to these guys for colour too.
Based in the trendy Potts Point area in Sydney (for those of you not local, it feels like New York’s West Village) on a main street not far from Kings Cross station, it really could not be a more convenient place to get a quick blow dry just outside the city. Not to mention a coffee afterwards at multiple hip cafes in the area!
The guys do killer blow drys, waves and up-dos but also specialise in cuts and colour… I’ve pretty much been to everyone and love all the staff but Kerry is my girl these days. All Blow Dry Bars use Kevin Murphy – who are known for their amazing styling products. The salon also uses Olaplex which is game-changing in the colour world. It allows you to colour hair without damaging it and achieves great results for blonde. It also makes for a great treatment. Don’t ask me how it works because I’m not entirely sure, but I do know it’s incredible!
