I recently teamed up with some lovely friends and like-minded Sydney fashionistas to bring you a series of blog posts shot in beautiful Pyrmont (see first shoot and entry to the Wish Style Challenge here). The talented creative posse included Helen from Boho Chic NLT (fellow blogger & photographer), Jo from Backstage by Jo (bespoke stylist making things happen for awesome Aussie brands), Danielle Madeline (makeup artist extraordinaire) and Steph (our lovely assistant on the day). It was a fun girls day of shooting and letting our creative sides takeover, and we got to style up incredible pieces from Sydney based labels Minty Meets Munt and Opa Designs.

I love every element of this outfit – amazing quilted bandeau top, wet look slouch pants, classic patent pumps, fierce cherry coat and fine jewellery. The cherry coat is my new favourite item and it was love at first site. There’s something so fierce about the colour red, it tells a story. I’ve found myself wearing more and more black of late coming in to winter, and adding a splash of colour is always welcome. These days I can’t live without a heavy dose of fine jewellery, so these rose gold pieces were perfect as a finishing touch.

Overall it was a great day and one that you remember when close friendships are formed and a bit of magic happens! ;)

Final post up soon, and look out for future collaborations with these ladies…
