Day 4 of fashion week came around so quick! I’ve come to realise that fashion week is kinda of like a camping festival. It’s fun and tiresome and some days you just need to push through because you know it will be worth it in the end!

Thursday was another action packed day starting with backstage at Jennifer Kate before the show. It was my first backstage and I absolutely loved it. I’ve seen lots of photos from backstage and they all seem to look the same, but when you’re actually there you get caught up with the energy and it’s addictive. Watching the models having their makeup done is great, the models had blue & orange eyes for this show which really excited me.

The Iconic asked me to be there guest for this show and I was particularly thrilled when I was seated front row (another first). It was Jennifer Kate’s first time showing at fashion week and it was such a beautiful collection, one close to my heart – all suede & leather in colours like red, blue & brown!

70s have definitely taken over my life having a big influence on fashion choices lately, taking inspiration from London and Milan fashion week’s recently where it was seen everywhere. Can’t get enough really!

Would you rock something a bit 70s?

Day 5 (final day and outfit) of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia up shortly!!
