Nothing beats the winter blues like a good shopping spree, and that’s exactly what I did this week when I dropped into Karen Millen’s QVB store. My eyes landed on this stunning Karen Millen trench and I knew it had to come home with me. This was a ‘non-negotiable’ had to have it!!

The eye-catching colour is a big selling point, would you call this rust? A hard-working staple piece easily integrated into a wardrobe of neutrals, blacks and lots of stripes.

It’s perfect for the weather right now, and I can see it transitioning into spring seamlessly with the detachable sleeves (hello sleeveless trench!). Versatile, and a winner for cooler spring days when you just need something to throw on.

I’ve already worn this trench 5 times in one week, it’s proving a worthy investment!
