It recently dawned on me, that something was missing from my life – a pair of timeless black sunglasses. I had the perfect pair a year or two ago, and somehow lost them without noticing. In an age where a girl’s sunglass collection is her pride and joy, and outfits are matched around sunnies, I was missing a trick. In the sea of sunglasses I’d collected over the years, I was suddenly missing that hero pair that went with everything and bought a look together.
Insert Sunglass Hut. I recently dropped into the George Street store (which is massive by the way and almost has too many options!) to hunt for the perfect pair of Audrey-esque shades. After taking a million photos on my iPhone (which is great to discover which pair you like most by the way) I decided on a pair of classic black Pradas. I was so happy with my choice after initially getting distracted by fun new styles in different colours and sizes. Not to say they’re not fun and great options, but I wanted to stay true to my shopping mission: ‘Find the perfect pair of timeless black sunglasses’.
Side note: For those of you with a narrow face, the struggle can be real. The selection of Pradas and Raybans at Sunglass Hut include some perfect options for slender faces! I say this from experience always finding it difficult to find those killer shades that frame my face in the best possible way.
