Since taking off for travels almost a month ago now, the trip has been an incredible whirlwind of fun and adventure. With LA being our first destination it was was non-stop trying to fit everything into five days. We ticked off most of the stuff on our list of restaurants and cafes including Urth Cafe and Joan’s on Third, and spent multiple afternoons at third Street Promenade Santa Monica. I also took a million photos of LA palm trees!
This being my second visit to LA and the first being so short (2 days) I really fell in love with the vibe and lifestyle and it was a great place to start the trip. We got to explore different areas including Venice Beach, where we stayed in an awesome Airbnb complete with bikes and cute pet dogs. Our hosts were a standard LA couple a with TV backgrounds having met on ‘The Wonder Years’ – all very Hollywood!
These shots were taken in some back streets in Venice on the way to Abbott Kinney Blvd for drinks at Feed and dinner at Gjelina (my absolute favourite!), I found myself wanting to wear bohemian style tops and dresses as soon as I hit hot weather in the States and it felt right with the LA beach vibe. Looking forward to visiting La La Land again very soon!
